AIU Clears Tobi Amusan of doping charges

According to recent reports, the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) has cleared Tobi Amusan of doping charges.

The AIU, which is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the sport, found Amusan not guilty of any Anti-Doping Rule Violations related to three Whereabouts Failures within 12 months.
In a statement from the AIU on Thursday, the body lifted the suspension placed on her last month for whereabouts failures.

A panel of the Disciplinary Tribunal, by majority decision, has today found that Tobi Amusan has not committed an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) of three Whereabouts Failures within 12 months,” the statement read.

This clearance from the AIU means that Tobi Amusan is eligible to compete at the 2023 World Athletics Championships.
