The 31-year-old Melbourne victory player got the first and only goal of the game.

The goal came in the 48th minute, with New Zealand making a flying start to the second half. Jacqui Hand raced away from her marker down the right and fired over a brilliant low cross that was turned home first time by Wilkinson from five yards out.

The 33-year-old defensive midfielder had the opportunity to double the lead of New Zealand in the game in the 90th minute from the spot but was unlucky as her spot kick hit the woodwork.
